A bit about me
I’m Candice a person-centred therapist based in Glasgow and the face behind Semper Therapy.
The word semper means "always" and it reflects something central to my work: the belief that you are always worthy of care, and that healing is a lifelong, evolving process. Whether you feel rooted, lost, or somewhere in between, therapy can offer a steady space to return to yourself.
As someone who is neurodivergent, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate a world that often misunderstands or overlooks difference. I also bring the perspective of someone who has been the therapy client, and who values the vulnerability and beauty of opening up to others.
From my perspective therapy is political, I believe our personal experiences and health are influenced by the systems in which we live. Systems that shape how we are seen, treated and belong in this world and in therapy I hold space for the personal and collective experiences of power and identity.
Whether you're here to explore a specific issue or simply to reconnect with parts of yourself that feel distant, you’re welcome- always.
